It’s here to prevent the awkward silence that follows a broken link, the digital equivalent of someone shouting your old name in a crowded room. We keep these redirects so that the vast, interconnected web doesn’t suddenly develop gaping holes, leaving lost souls (or rather, lost clicks) wandering in the digital wilderness.
